When inquiring about pricing over the phone, by text or by e-mail, it can be very helpful if you know the details of what it is you're after. For example, what's the size of the mirror you need pricing for, and will it need any cut outs? If it's shower glass you're interested in, what's the width of the opening and the height of the glass going to be? Other details that can be of help are color of hardware and a layout design. A drawing with some measurements is always welcome. 

As for broken or damaged windows, these will almost always require a site measure before offering any pricing. This is because details other than just size need to be determined first, such as glass thickness or low-e coatings, tempered or non tempered glass, the type of space bar used and how the window is secured in the opening.

If you're still unsure about how to explain or describe the type of product you need, don't worry. Basic site measures are still free within Calgary city limits! More extensive measures for a residence, complex or business that has multiple rooms or areas for glass products may require a nominal charge to cover time spent on site.
